Zine to read
The sea is our pathway comes from a real story about a friend who took me for a walk to show me where he once lived in several “rooms”along the coastline road. He often fell asleep in cars, on rooftops, and among the rocks on the beach at that time, until he settled into a seaside room decorated with carvings - One day, while floating on the sea, he discovered that on the other side of the coastline road, there was a shelter built by someone that could only be seen from the sea.
This story always reminds me of Tristes Tropiques (1955), which reflects Claude Lévi-Strauss's predictions and anxieties about the future(which is Now) of mankind. At the same time, I also recall that our ancestors once told us, "The island is our canoe, the sea is our pathway." This perspective suggests a flight from capitalism. We have long understood that the sea is our pathway from the beginning.

Never too small
“Never Too Small” is taken from a YouTube channel I've subscribed to for a long time. The channel documents small-space design from around the world.
To me, it represents an ideal philosophy of living. Never Too Small is also the title of a series of mini zines I've created, recording people and events I’ve discovered—within books, through daily observations, and in this age of consumerism—that embody and practice this way of thinking.
